Once Upon A Time

Hudson Dance and Movement invites you and your family to our Spring 2010 concert, Once Upon A Time. The beloved stories of Peter Pan, Snow White and Pinocchio will be featured.

This whimsical show is 1 hour and 20 minutes long and is appropriate for all age groups. This is a children’s professional production with special guest artists from the Joffery Ballet.

Over 200 of Hudson Dance and Movement’s talented dancers from Hoboken, Jersey City and Union City will be performing at this magical show. Please come out to support your local dancers and HFA.

10% of the proceeds will be donated to Hoboken Family Alliance/Project Play.

Tickets: $15 per person (children under 3 are admitted for free)

HOP for Dance at Connors

We are so happy to announce the launch of HOP for dance (Hudson Outreach Program) at the Connors School in Hoboken. The 4^th grade classes are delighted to receive 10 weeks of ballroom instruction taught by our renowned instructor Xavier Auza during their gym hour.  We would like to thank Peter Carter,  Linda Erbe,  John Bussanich, and the Board of Education for accepting this program into the public school system. We are very excited to showcase the students’ hard work at the assembly in May.

JP Division Highlights

Our Junior Professional Division is off to a great start. We look forward to having Kathryn Perault from the Vancouver Junior Professional Division as our guest teacher in February. We would also like to welcome Cassey Vitiello, a former student of the New York Theater Ballet School located in New York City as one of our JP students. She will be performing a soloist role in our upcoming Spring Concert.

Hudson Dance and Movement announces Studio Of The Month at lululemon athletica

Hudson Dance and Movement has been awarded Studio of the Month by lululemon athletica in the Garden State Plaza. Senior teachers from Hudson Dance and Movement will offer Cardio Barre, Cardio Salsa, and Dance Stretch classes on Saturday mornings throughout the month of December. The classes are complimentary, a holiday gift to the community from Hudson Dance and Movement.

RECENT NEWS:

Hudson Dance and Movement & Hoboken Pediatrics Harvest Fest

Over 200 families participated in the Festival’s activities.  Children of all ages, and their parents too, showed smiles as they danced, had their faces painted, made festive arts & crafts, and got to know the friendly Hudson Dance and Movement Staff.  Hudson Dance and Movement’s 1st Annual Harvest Fest was surely a fun day for the Hoboken community.
