Musical Theater II (Ages 6 – 8 yrs)
This class is designed to familiarize students with the classic styles of musical theatre and jazz dance, while emphasizing the importance of the personal styles of each individual student. The class begins with a basic, thorough warm-up including stretching, strengthening, balance, and isolations. The class continues with stylized across the floor work on turns, kicks and jumps. Lastly, using the fundamental movements already addressed, there is a choreographed musical theatre/jazz combination which is guaranteed to get everyone in class dancing, acting, singing and having fun.
