Beginner Ballet
Beginner Ballet is a continuation of Pre-Ballet that prepares the student for the primary division Ballet A. Class begins with conditioning exercises to develop strength, balance and coordination. Introductory barre exercises are incorporated to develop good posture and to stress proper alignment. Music Appreciation is included to instill melody and rhythm into each class. A favorite segment of class deals with traveling steps across the floor to encourage coordination and musicality. Listening skills and classroom etiquette are emphasized. Class meets one or more times a week for one hour.
